2 meals a day?

Options
There have been a few bits in the UK papers recently about two meals a day being better for weight loss that many (same # of calories). It's all based on a recent diabetes study. Just wondering what all you PCOS-ers make of it?

As someone who has been trying to follow the 3 meals and 2 snacks a day advice given to many women with PCOS, this seems rather counter-intuitive, particularly for women who struggle with PCOS-related insulin resistance, but it sounds like it could be a potentially fruitful way forward?

What do you think?

I think if it were done within the confines of a system like intermittent fasting, it might work, but a lot of PCOS stuff has to do with hormone imbalances, which include insulin, from time to time...so leveling out blood sugar is important. If you sugar could stay level while shifting things about, it might be worth trying, but when the "papers" talk about new ideas, it is just that...new, untested, and meant for the average person, not complex cases like us...
