Is this group viewable by the general MFP public?

Does anyone know if this is a private group or if I post a topic will it come up on my news feed like I see from other people? I have something to share that doesn't need to be linked straight from my friend's news feed to here (unless they join the group of course) Thank you!

    I think you can modify that my changing what automatically feeds to your News feed page. Go to <Home>, then <Settings> and then to <Automatic News Feed Update Settings> and update accordingly.

    Ok I just went in and changed my settings. I kind of wish this was a private group but I understand. I was a member of a photo challenge that was private and that was nice because we had to post our "befores" and I know a lot of us probably would not have participated if it were open. This is obviously different.
