The Rules
The goal is to break 100 users into 10 teams and see how much weight we can all lose in 10 weeks. Every week on Friday you will post to the Week X Weigh-in Thread. It will be up to you to publicly post your weight on the thread. I will aggregate all of the data into a master spreadsheet. It will look like this:
You must weigh in every Friday to the thread. I will create the thread on Thursday nights (GMT -5:00). You will have until Saturday morning to get your weigh-in on record. If you miss 2 weigh-ins, you will be removed from the competition. Please only write "Username: XXX lbs" and no other content or reflections to keep the thread from being unnecessarily long.
The Teams
I should have the teams by 7/11/14 (the first weigh-in).
FAQ
1. What if I weigh in at weight watchers or tops or curves on a day different then Friday? You can use a different day to weigh in. JUST MAKE SURE IT IS THE SAME TIME EVERY WEEK! For example...if you weigh in at weight watchers on Wednesdays, use that weight on Friday.
2. What if we have a team member who doesn't weigh in? If they don't weigh in for 2 weeks (consecutive or not), they won't be able to be in the group. If you have a group member that doesn't weigh in one week, they will still count towards your total.
3. When will you post the weekly winners? Saturday.
4. What is the purpose of challenges? Fun, mostly. They won't count towards your team's ranking. Challenges are for you to try something new, see if you can make positive changes in your life, and have fun.
