Hey all! I'm currently standing at 174 pounds and am wanting to get down to 150. Now I know lifting alone wont make me lose pounds, and that eating at a caloric deficit will. I'm just curious if there is anyone else out there who was around my weight, started this program and got down to their goal weight and toned at the same time? I was doing Jason Blaha's Ice Cream Fitness, but wanted to give this one a go instead. Finding that a lot of the accessory lifts are a bit much.

    Yup, it works. Started at over 180, down to goal of 155. Eat sensibly and at deficit (moderate- don't starve). Stick to stronglifts 5x5 and you'll put on muscle and tone up. Friends are commenting about the change, tho I hadn't thought it noticeable. Took over a year, so stick it out.

    I have no problems sticking it out. I really like it! When I finish my routine for the day I wanna go back and do more lol
