Eating Vegan on a Cruise

Hey Everyone!

My husband and I just got back from a 7 day cruise on Disney Cruise Line. We searched and searched the web for months trying to find a vegan friendly cruise line, but really couldn't find any answers (besides the Holistic cruise). We ended up booking Disney because we are really just children at heart.

We boarded our cruise thinking we would be making it by for the week off of fruit and salad... we were so wrong! They were absolutely amazing about ensuring we always had something to eat (and not just a large plate full of vegetables). Disney always has a few vegetarian options on their menu, usually with at least one vegan, but our servers and chef would make us special meals and desserts if they didn't think that option was good enough or if it wasn't vegan.

They were more than just accomodating, really everyone went over the top to make sure we were fed.

Anyway, I just thought that might be helpful for anyone who is thinking about booking a cruise but worried about what they'll eat!

We found the Carnival Magic was also incredibly veg-friendly. Servers were incredibly knowledgeable about how dishes are prepared and the one time there was a question they could not satisfy, they brought over a cook to inform us of a dish's ingredients.
