Hey Ladies:

Hopefully I'm not alone here, but I'm constantly peeping my peers leggings/tanks/tops/shoes/bags so I thought it would be dope to post a thread for all of you FAVORITE workout gear/brands.

Links are helpful when relevant. But you don't know until you know - so spread the WORD! What can't you live without?

Also, anyone that's got an excellent running pant that does not show what a sweaty-beast I am, I'm interested to know! :)

I tend to just get my stuff at marshall's/tj maxx!

I do have these nike moisture wicking capri pants that might help with your sweaty running! They're like this: http://www.kohls.com/product/prd-1179549/nike-legend-20-dri-fit-tights-womens.jsp

Note- they are not squat proof. If you squat in them, your bright undies might show. I do not lift in these pants.

Oh this is a good idea! Right now I only work out at home so I just wear whatever ratty old thing I grab first! I might start a class or two in the fall though so some more presentable options are probably a good idea!!

    *completely unhelpful thread follower* :D

I think I have the same pair... and I squat in them LOL
Oh wellz. I've been squatting with running shorts from Target too.

For bra, I just get the sports bra from Costco, but I stuff a small piece of handkerchief, soft paper tissue or small ankle sock between my boobs because my wide-ish inter-boob-space sweat a lot and doesn't dry until I dry the space manually. This solution (the socks/hankerchief thing) actually came from xxfitters at some point in my lurking history haha.

i used to pony up for lululemon, etc. because they were noticeably better quality than cheaper versions, but in the last year or two i feel like the more affordable options have gotten a lot better. in particular, old navy has good compression stuff and the c9/champion stuff at target is pretty good too.

that said, i'm totally the type of person who would wear my "exercise" clothes as streetwear whenever possible, so i do still sometimes go in for the expensive stuff if i really like the look of it =)

Seconding that! I love the moisture wicking capris I bought there, they're bright blue (I like bright colors for workout gear) and they are so comfortable. I find myself wearing them for yard work and whatever else I get sweaty for too, they haven't shown any sweat that I'm aware of either. Also - they eliminate the need for body glide (which is a huge lifesaver!) for those who have thunderthighs like I do (most shorts tend to ride up no matter what, I swear!).

My go to workout tank is a Reebok bra/tank combo I picked up at a Marshalls, it's the best top I have and super comfy for runs.

As far as additional gear (not clothes) I swear by my cho pat for my bad knee and body glide, think you can pick up both on Amazon.

I'm an Adidas/Nike freak. I tend to binge buy on their sites from time to time.

    My favorite shirts:

    Adidas Deep Boyfriend Vs: http://www.adidas.com/us/product/womens-training-boyfriend-double-v-tee/TZ352?cid=D88678&breadcrumb=1z13071Z1z11zrfZsxZu3Z1z13xgi

For the summer, tanks are a must, though (especially when I do the park workouts). I recently got this from Nike and I love it (I even have the confidence to wear it now...would not last year): http://store.nike.com/us/en_us/pd/three-d-tank-top/pid-991389/pgid-1535652

    Favorite shorts:

I love Nike Pro 3" shorts. I just got the red zigzags the other day. Love 'em: http://store.nike.com/us/en_us/pd/pro-core-3-compression-shorts/pid-829529/pgid-967811
