For those that add in accessory moves like pull-ups/chin-ups and still need assistance, what at-home assistance band(s) do you recommend? Since my home made power rack will be ready to rock this weekend and I made sure to get a pull-up bar for it, I would like to add that exercise to my routine, but I deffo need assistance at this point.

I was thinking of this:

If anyone knows of a better product, please share!

    http://www.amazon.com/Black-Mountain-Strength-Resistance-Combo/dp/B00EVXS8UG/ref=sr_1_9?s=sporting-goods&ie=UTF8&qid=1404307837&sr=1-9&keywords=black+mountain+resistance+bands

I have this exact set and by now I can knock out sets of 12 if I use all 3 bands together. And I can grind out 2 chin-ups with just the blue band looped in my foot. (To give you an idea of the resistance difference between them)

On top of that they're a lot more versatile than the chin-up assist since you can do band pull-aparts (awesome for shoulder strength & mobility), shoulder dislocations, rack mobility, face pulls, banded good mornings, use as assist for pistol squats, dips, etc... Can be used to add resistance to squats and bench press, too! I'm really glad I got these, even though I already had a set of adjustable resistance tubes with handles (from the same brand, too). They're just super handy for mobility work!

Great post! I needed this, since I was looking at bands yesterday.
