Other than the obvious Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong...I"m very weak in this type of music. I really like this Jazzy type of sound and could use your suggestions.

Here is a few of the songs I've put on a playlist I'm building:

1. Frank Sinatra - Fly Me To The Moon
2. Michael Buble - Cry Me A River
3. Ella Fitzgerald & Louis Armstrong - Summertime
4. Louis Armstrong - La Vie En Rose

Nat King Cole: "When I Fall in Love"
Dean Martian: "C'est Si Bon", "It had to be you", "By the Time I Get to Phoenix"
    Bing Crosby: "Moonlight Becomes You"
    Perry Como: "Try to Remember"

And Caterina Velente has a few that I have enjoyed, but I cant remember them off the top of my head. OH! And one of my favorites is "Bushel & a Peck" it is a song that is covered by quite a few crooners in skits... Betty Hutton does a pretty cute version.

#3 is one of my absolute favorite, probably because I played it once upon a time.

This is the kinda of music I turn up when I get home from pretending I'm a professional woman in my 2pc suit, kick off heels, make a double martini and chill.
I have lots at home, I'll post some of my favs later, have a weakness for Buble but not a huge fan of his latest.
Other than above Miles Davis, Oscar Peterson, Etta James, Billie Holiday, Dinah Washington, John Coltrane, Tony Bennett to name a few more and of course Charles Aznavour (french)

    I'm partial to torch singers.

"Smoke Gets In Your Eyes" Eartha Kitt
    "At Last" Etta James
    "Stormy Weather" Lena Horne
"Come Rain or Come Shine" Marlene Dietrich

The link took me to a video of Nina Simone (which I really enjoyed, thank you!). I think I'm gonna have to get me some of her music.

Bessie Smith's version is even dirtier. ;)
