Hi! Welcome to the group! I am 4 weeks and 3 days post surgery, and things are going really well for me. Since my surgery I have lost 20 pounds, and 50 pounds total. You said you have done a lot of research on this procedure, and that is such a good sign that you are prepared and ready to take on this challenge! I wish you luck in your journey!

I was sleeved Feb/2011 down a total of 175lbs. I had some regain and am now back on track. Lost 32lbs since joining MFP about 5 wks ago.

Good luck, read, listen, learn, live. All will be good.

Welcome to the site, this is a great place to be. People here are so helpful, kind and friendly. It's a great place to ask questions.

I should be sleeved in September or October. I've lost 20 lbs. on my own since February and will be on a 2 week liquid fast to shrink my liver (this is fairly standard) before the surgery.

Feel free to friend me.

Welcome to the group. I'm so glad you're reaching out to others who have been through the sleeve. I am 9 weeks post-surgery and down 50 pounds. I am continuing to learn about my new normal. Take one day at a time and be kind to yourself. Your body will have to adjust to things it's never done. The sleeve is a great tool!
