Well it was a really rough weekend for me. I pigged out big time. We had a great weekend though. LOL I swear my body is like a dry sponge, just add any bad food and it soaks it up and expands. I am 15 lbs up just from 4 days of unhealthy eating. I know a lot of it will come back off right away but it's still discouraging to see how it jumps up there like that. Plus the mental part of being back over 300 sucks.

    I had a big eating weekend as well. Celebrating me winning the challenge and just having fun during the holiday weekend. Haven't step on the scale yet lol. I don't want to get discourage because I know a lot of it is water weight.
    You know it too. Your gain is just water weight. I'm pretty bummed because I was sooo close to being under 170. Sigh.. Gonna get right back at it. I hope I can see 170 by end of the month.
    I've also joined dietbet.com I like the idea of doing challenges when money is involved. Keeps me more focus. The fact that I have money at stake and that I can win more just add more incentive to it. :) That's just me.. I think its that little competitive side of me.

    That sounds interesting, I will have to check that out. I am already down 4 lbs just over night so maybe by weigh in day it will only be a 5 or 6 lb gain. It will come back off quick and I am already back in the saddle. :-)

    Thanks for the shout out in last week's Chat and Accountability Howie! I missed it again. I know I am better off when I chat with you guys a bit. I was rock bottom last week and I know that is why I was avoiding everything. I even had the Health Nuts Anonymous guys do a show for me. It was the holiday week and all but I was also just in a real funk.
    I am happy to report that I am crawling out of the bucket!
    I am just like you Howie. I ate horribly and then was defeated when I saw the scale creeping up. It was over several weeks but 4th of July was the real kicker. I really binge when I know it is going to be a "last-hoorah!" And I knew I'd be getting back to it on Monday. So Sunday night was depressing but Monday was much better. And now, Wednesday, I'm feeling pretty awesome. Dropped a little water weight and that is always encouraging.
    Hey Heronh: Congrats on your Biggest Loser challenge win!!! I'm so excited for you! I know that is a great feeling!
    You guys inspired me to create a different post to do an August Challenge. Kind of like these threads but more of a 1 sentence or 2 sentence check in for as many people as possible. I can start promoting it on the show and encourage folks to join. It might bring more people into MFP or bring some folks back (like me- Ha!).
    Well... The GREAT news is that we are here after that holiday weekend and we are all motivated and dedicated.

    You are welcome and I tend the to do the same thing. If you don't see me you know it's not good. LOL I even messed up my streak of checking in here. All well streaks are meant to be broke, right! :-) I was down another 2 lbs this morning so I'm only up 9. I had a 2 lb gain the week before and then the Holiday gain to add to it. I guess I should put the 2 lb gain in my weigh in chart. It will make the holiday gain look a little less. LOL Have to manipulate those numbers.

    Well final holiday gain came in at 4 lbs. Not as bad as I thought. Back at it and going strong again and that is the important part. I had a great time pigging out last week. LOL
