I am looking for aspiring weight lose stories from those who had their thyroid removed. I had my thyroid removed two years ago due to cancer and have been on 225 levo. Seems like a high dose but my levels are were they should be. I have gained weight over those years and I am done with the weight gain. I have started to watch my diet and started to exercise again. I have always been active even when I had thyroid problems and I would say it was pretty easy at first to lose weight, but as the years went by it wasn't that easy.

I know if you have thyroid problems you really have to work out a little longer and harder. I don't have a problem with this. I was into kickboxing, running and a lot of high activity. --- I was known for basically eating whatever and WE all know that this does not work especially if you are on thyroid medication..lol

I really want to lose 30 pounds and wanted to hear any stories from follow individuals who had their thyroid removed.

Thank you!
