Hey guys! I'm Shannon! I am 18 years old and a college swimmer, but now that I am not in season I gained a little weight and want to get it off before season at the end of September. I decided to start to really gain some muscle definition to look good in my suit. I plan on posting on my blog every few days if not every day just to keep myself motivated. I plan to keep records of my goals and my weight/measurements in order to keep myself in check!
Measurements:
Neck - 12in
Waist – 27in
Hips – 39in
Thighs – 29in
Weight: 163lbs
Height: 69ins (5'9")
I just need some support on feeling like I am not overweight. As I am sure some of you know, its hard for women who are taller to deal with standards because they are usually not made in our favor. On some websites it says I am overweight/obese and I know that is not true. I know I have muscle mass, but I also know I have fat to lose.
I have pictures of how I look now on my blog: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/shannonbrewelch/view/starting-new-677039
I just need some support and friends through my journey who know the struggle of getting on the scale as a tall woman. I tend to be very hard on myself so the scale really messes with my head. Any advice?

I think you are on the right track, seeking friends on MFP who are also tall.
I find this particular group very helpful to keep things in perspective!
I think you are looking great!0
