I just came back to MFP and saw this group and new I had to join it. I haven't seen any recent post so I thought I would start one.

How is your Fitness Pal going? I have lost 4 pounds since I have been back. I plan on moving more this week and staying on track with my diet and tracking.

What are you working on at the present time? I am busy making scarves for this falls bazaars. I am getting bored with them I know I need to do them. The sooner I get them done, the sooner I can get on with projects I want to do for myself, family and our church ministry.

It's going... I've been a slacker lately. I haven't been eating well and due to shoulder and knee issues I haven't lifted in 2 weeks. And my spin class has been permanently cancelled due to the resignation of the instructor. So, I'm back from a week's vacation in Maine with my family and have a renewed commitment to my own health. I feel so much better when I eat better!

I have to make a doctor's appointment for my shoulder. It's not really improving much despite 3 weeks of rest, so I'm going to make an appt. today.

Knitting wise, I just finished some baby things for my niece's best friend - she's been a part of my sister's family since the kids were in 7th grade together. I used Premier's Serenity baby and boy are they cute. Of course, I forgot to picture them. My next project is a winter earflap cap for another sister, and as always, I have socks on needles, a pair each for 2 riding sisters, and a pair for my husband's best buddy. Somewhere along there I also have a lace shawl going, for me!

There is nothing like family to get you back on track. I just restarted this month because of my family. I see their health problems and life styles and if I can change my health habits, maybe I can avoid the same problems. I hope your shoulder is not a major problem and nol lay you up too long. Although that would mean more knitting time.

One of my future projects for myself is a winged shawl. I have the pattern and yarn. It is hard not to get it started but I have to get several more scarves done first. Sometimes I wonder why I decided to do the craft show.

I'm coming up on one year here at MFP. I've already knit 2 sweaters in my new size (medium!) but can't wear them until the weather cools again. So I'm focusing on sock yarn projects. So far I've made three pairs of socks and started a hat. I have a sweater quantity of DK yarn to make another garment, probably another cardigan, but at least this time it's grey and not blue. I get stuck in a blue yarn rut every now and then, lol.

OH, that sound's wonderful. I am aiming for a sweater someday. Just have not found that pattern that speaks to me yet.

My problem is the opposite! I have way too many sweater patterns that I want to knit and can't make up my mind. I think the Central Park Hoodie is my choice at least at the moment!
