Glad I checked into the "new direction" forum I read when I was starting and found this! Thanks for setting up the group! I've been doing New Direction with Methodist Hospital since March - down 46 so far. I have another 10 lbs to go before I can transition to the next phase "My Journey" where I add food back into my daily routine. I'll admit I'm kinda already on this phase which the nutritionists are aware of. I just updated my before/after profile pic today since I was excited to put on clothes that have been sitting in my closet for over 5 years. The before pic was day one at the clinic. My weight progress tracker reflects my ultimate goal, but my program goal is another 20lbs to get to my maintenance weight. Hell, I'd be happy staying my current weight - I haven't felt this good in YEARS!

Hi and welcome to the group. Congratulations on your loss!

I'm currently in "Compass" what we call the maintenance classes at my clinic. I've been bouncing around a 5lb window since I switched to maintenance but would like to lose another 20lbs still. Although like you I'd be happy staying at this weight so if this is where my body stays I am not unhappy with that. At this point I am still slowly increasing my calories and dealing with the july birthday bonanza in my family. I'll be glad when the last party is behind me after this weekend. Parties kill me.

Sorry for the long delayed THANK YOU!! I can't seem to access this board from my phone app, and it's pretty rare I get on my computer to check in. Now that I'm having to start tracking meals again to get prepared for real life dieting - I jumped on to flip through the messages.

My sister is thinking about joining the New Direction club - but she's so scared. I almost forgot how hard the start-up was!! All I can say is hands down easiest diet ever! (and the only one I've ever succeeded on more than 3mos)

Thanks again everyone - I'll probably send out some friend requests so that I can keep better tabs on everyone :)
