Today the thing that makes me happy is that I found Michael and have him in my life. Our life together hasn't been an easy road but we always go down it together. Less than 2 weeks after we met at a singles' party and started dating he was diagnosed with hepatitis c and end-stage liver disease (because of the hep c). We made it through the transplant process, the transplant and the 17 days in the ICU, the hep c treatment, and now it looks as if he might be hep c free (prayers to Jesus). We have had desperate financial troubles that we have worked through and it looks like we're finally seeing a light at the end of that tunnel. No matter what we've faced, we always faced it together. He loves me for who I am and is just as grateful that I am in his life. It's so wonderful having a man that loves me unconditionally and stands up for me and shows me every day that I am worthy of being loved.
