Scale won't move one way or the other. I try to eat healthy. The choices are not great on the road. What do you suggest I incorporate into my diet? I am 151lbs, 5ft 3ins. I eat around 1200 cals a day, which is a lot for me. I am pescatarian. (no judging please)
  • I am in the truck with my husband ( he drives OTR) and my bariatric Nurse Practitioner told me to implement some exercise throughout the day. When I’m bored I tend to have cravings for carbs or sweets, which I’m learning to eat more proteins. He suggested that I get resistance bands and use them throughout the day. We try to walk in the parking lots if we are on our 30 minute or 10 hour, but with the winter here the lots get very slippery and walking is not a good thing at times per safety reasons.
The scale isn’t moving, but are you losing inches? I was beating myself up because the scale seemed to stay at 206. I weighed at the appointment and I was 205. I’ve also lost 1.5 inches in the stomach/ waist and 1 inch around my neck.
I have a 12-1300 calorie intake diet to follow. I’ve found out when I eat gluten free it helps the scale to move.
