Hi girls.

Would anyone care to give me ideas for breakfast and lunch that are low carb, high protein? Dinner isn't so hard because I usually have meat and veg, but breakfast is so carb heavy especially if you need convenient foods, and lunch is a little easier but I can't do salads anymore or else I spend the next 48hrs in abdominal distress.

    My go-to breakfast is eggs scrambled in about a tbsp (maybe 2) of butter, topped with some cheese, and a homemade iced mocha with almond milk and heavy cream.

    If you need more grab-n-go type stuff, I recommend checking out omelet muffins (like this one -- http://paleogrubs.com/savory-breakfast-muffins ). They're basically baked omelets that you can either eat cold or heat up real quick in the microwave and eat on the go.

    Other than that, for either breakfast or lunch, you can do leftovers. Sandwich wraps are a good one -- take the fillings of your favorite sandwich and wrap it in lettuce instead of a bun.
