Late today but I am happy about my first meal from Extreme Pita. It was filling, within calories and I really liked it. We treated my son to a happy meal but I resisted the junk and we went to Pita after. SO yay to will power and a yummy supper I didnt have to cook.

Today I am happy because I found out my baby boy is coming back home August 1st!!! He's been gone so long.0

I'm late and I haven't been keeping up with this but yesterday was just such a splendid day!
My friend had her baby! On her birthday! I'm going to make a casserole and portion it out into tupperware and freeze it and bring it over whenever they're up for someone to drop by for a couple of minutes. I'm just so happy for them! Most of the people I knew in high school got married young (between 18 and 23), and I didn't really feel like I was part of that cohort. Now, though, my friends here are getting married and having children, and I'm realizing that I'm actually in that same kind of part of life now and it's a bit mindblowing.
Another friend of mine got engaged yesterday as well! Also on her birthday! She's been so wonderful about offering to help with my wedding stuff, so I'm so excited to do the same for her. Her fiancee is wonderful, too. Both of them are just such sweet, goodhearted women and I just couldn't be more pleased.

I have not been checking in on the boards the past few days but I had a great day off yesterday!
I started this journey in a size 26 jeans (though big time denial and mostly stretchy pants). We went out window shopping yesterday and to lunch. I tried on regular size 20s at Old Navy and they FIT. Comfortably! That was my goal for fall weather, to be able to shop in normal size stores

Norah, this sounds wonderful! How amazing how much your life has changed this year and how much more you're able to do and enjoy. Suddenly your future looks very, very bright! That makes me happy too.
My happy today was being treated to a movie by my 7-year-old best friend. It was awesome.0
