My new NSV!

This is my first time making a post, so I'm a little nervous!

I just had such an exciting NSV that I needed to share! I fit into my 16 yr old daughters jeans!!! Can I tell you all how freaking awesome that felt???! Now my daughter is not so excited about this as she's talking about putting a lock on her closet door, but me, I'm smiling from ear to freaking ear! My wardrobe possibilities just doubled!

I've been a slow loser since day one, staring at my scale willing it to go down, but the inches matter too. This just proved it. I love my sleeved life!

Way to go! My daughter was not pleased to see me dancing around in her jeans either ;) I have raided her closet a few times, something I never imagined doing!

Yes!! Shopping with my daughter has taken on a whole new dimension. She wears a women's extra small. We do not shop in the preteen area. You may have noticed it is either Disney or slut-o-Rama. We prefer the fun fresh youthful styles of Cynthia Rowley, Nicole Miller and Ann Taylor. We hit Belks and Macys hard this month for the 6 month clearance racks, tons of designer clothes all under $10. We know each other's colors, size and cut. So we have 2 pair of eyes shopping for each of us. We sound just like Stacy London and Clinton Kelly. "Cut and size are primary, color is secondary". Lol! I wear a ladies medium but hope to achieve ladies small by next year and then we can share. My mother in law has exquisite taste and the same ht, I would love to get her cast offs.

That's awesome! I am actually smaller than my one daughter and the same size as the other, but shopping is so much more fun with them and the daughter-in-laws too now! It's much more fun with anyone since I can shop somewhere other than the plus size stores!

Great NSV!!! I have two daughters, one is tiny and one is a bigger girl. I still cannot get anywhere near my smaller daughters size 10's,,3-4 sizes too small still. But I am starting to pass on my larger sizes to my other daughter. As much as I love that I am losing the weight it reminds me that she still faces some weight hurdles for her age.
But I used to love just throwing on my husbands shirts and sweatshirts. I haven't done this for a very very long time. He is not a big guy. But recently some of his loser sweats are wearable. Love this.
Today however I bought some jeans and a top in a Au 16 which has been ok recently. But even though the top is ok the jeans are going to take a while to get into I am afraid. Oh well.....only a matter of time. That's the great thing about the sleeve,,,you can buy and just wait.
