So I'm making progress...

I shared this status update on my wall earlier today.
So if I continue losing at my current rate, I could reach goal by next spring!!! I'm so glad I finally decided to address my hormone issues. I was having mild symptoms that I just ignored before I came to MFP, but it took trying to lose weight for me to acknowledge that there was even a problem. If I hadn't started using MFP, I might have ignored it and probably would have ended up diabetic. I love you MFP!!

Looking back, there were so many things that I overlooked for years and years. I was having symptoms, but treated them like isolated incidents. I didn't even know what PCOS was before coming to MFP. This place has really changed my life!

UsedToBe, that is so SO great to hear. I knew what PCOS was, but I didn't **KNOW** what it meant to me personally. I do now. I, too, am finally starting to get to a decent point with everything, though it is slow going. I look forward to seeing OUR progresses in six months to a year!!

I should correct this. Next spring might be an underestimated timeline. It might actually be more like next summer. But I will get there eventually!

In my opinion - it doesn't matter WHEN we get there, as long as we get there and stay there...or close to. Obviously, the sooner the better as far as health goes, but you know what I mean!!
