    all those are true!!!! Funny -- ofcourse the only thing I have not had yet is speedo dude. But mile 22 is so me on my first marathon!!!!:yawn:

    ugh. In Pittsburgh they have a sign at the last 1/2 mile...I swear it was 10 miles out! hahahahah

    Haha...and mile 22. I remember thinking that as long as I kept lifting my feet and moving them a forward direction the finish line would show up somewhere.

    I have not encountered a speedo but have overtaken a man in a nappy (diaper) (chafing!!!) and a man in a mankini. And a man dressed as a portaloo (this one not until 25 miles in!).

    LMAO at 23. I will never forget my first half. It rained the entire time, and we were soaked and freezing. Some kind soul gave me some company for a while at Mile 11, and I just looked at him and said "I need a sammich so. bad. right now".
