What's up with FitBit

My flex stopped syncing about a month ago. I have disconnected and reconnected at least ten times. When I do it will show up on MFP once, then does not change all day. Then the next day it is gone again. Now I am trying to do it from the FitBit side and it says the server is down, tho I have seen on here some people have gotten on the website.
I hate to sound whiny, but I am starting to really get annoyed with the whole process.
Anyone else having problems?

I have had problems off and on with getting mine to sync, but nothing like what you are describing. I don't have my FitBit One set to auto-sync, so I'm always aware to watch for the correct connection. I find that if I sync, then open a completely new encounter of MFP, it will sync there usually. But once it a while, it doesn't work. The easiest thing I have to do, and I've done this with MANY electronics is to uninstall everything. Remove it from anything it is linked to. Stick in on the charger overnight. Once you are sure it is back to functioning (a few test steps), then reinstall whatever. Just make sure everything else is "rebooted" while you are charging... Hopefully this helps... I haven't gotten a "server down" message, but I'm sure it is a fluke. I guess as these are getting more popular, the servers have to be upgraded to manage the load!0

There will occasionally be problems with syncing ...
From the Fitbit to the Fitbit site (I usually try the app first, if it doesn't work I'll try forcing a sync to the computer with Fitbit Connect, but usually I'm home and around my computer dongle so I am syncing all throughout the day without issue). Sometimes it will say "server down" but that is usually very temporary and I haven't had any issues this morning (mine just connected). It will often remind you to "tap" your Fitbit to "wake" it up if it doesn't connect immediately.
There is a "hard reboot" you could try too (https://help.fitbit.com/customer/portal/articles/1041329-how-do-i-restart-my-tracker-) if your Flex seems to have stopped responding at all.
Between MFP and Fitbit ... sometimes I just wait it out and it corrects itself. I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting here and there if it goes on for a longer time. Sometimes it's just one portion not syncing, (food not syncing to Fitbit, weight not updating) But I haven't had any trouble for a while, everything seems to be working fine for me.
If things aren't syncing between the sites, I'll look at my Fitbit burn and watch my MFP calorie in numbers and just try to keep them at least 500 calories apart. That does require math ... so I much prefer them being in sync., but like I mentioned above, I haven't had any trouble in recent memory (I have the One).0
