Weigh-ins are tricky. My scale gave up the ghost. I am going to try to get to Transitions once a week to for weigh-ins. I know for certain I will be weighed on 8/27 as I see my shrink that day.

8/13/14 - 283.8 (-8.0) (I am quite proud of this number given where I have spent the last 10 days.)

8/13 - 213.5 Oh hey!! I lost the 1.5 pounds I gained! I just realized that I recovered! Now to make some progress!

Way to go Vanessa, Maelyn, and Pixy for putting up some great numbers! And Leanna, I'm rowing that "Time to Own It" boat right alongside you this month. I often think on how I would get discouraged and give up in the past whenever I would see a small gain at the scale; all those small gains eventually added up to big gains, which is how I found myself at 379 lbs. a little over a year ago. As I told my doctor then, I think 35 years is enough time to have this monkey on my back; over the last year, I may have cuddled him occasionally, but for the most part I'm getting better and better at putting him back in his cage

8/22/14= 282 (+.8 lbs. While I'm sure some is water weight due to too much salt, I think there's a healthy dose of complacency in there too - unacceptable! Summer's over for this teacher and it's most definitely time to get back to work
