Hitting a wall

So the last two days, I've started the workout, and before I even get thru the warm up, I feel like I'm going to collapse. Extremely heavy breathing, and can't catch my breath.

No chest pains, muscle aches aren't anything more than I expect, no spots in my eyes like I'm going to faint. Oh, and no throwing up.

But my breathing is so bad, I can't keep going. I'm eating 1400-1500 calories a day. Probably not drinking enough water, but I also drink green tea during the day.

Anybody else having problems?

  • That used to happen to me when I went running.

What I find helps is this: start off very slow. Breathe in through your nose, and out through your mouth. It regulates your breathing and helps you to cope with the pace.

Take regular rests- it isn't bad to take breaks during Insanity! Perfectly normal. When you do, lift your arms and put them behind your head- you'll catch your breath faster.

Thanks. Along with upping my calories, I'll take it down a notch.
