lap band after gastric surgery

has anyone here that has had a gastric by pass surgery,, gone back aprox 8 yrs later and had a lap band put in place,,,from what I understand it can be done. however I would like to hear from some one who has had this procedure, y our input would be greatly appreciated. thks
