open non encrypted bluetooth

Sooo..... heres the thing,, i thought about this for a couple days before posting it to share.. but here goes..
bluetooth data encryption is non existant on the fitbit.
there is nothing from stopping someone with a bluetooth scanner(yes these things exisist) (($70.00))
from picking up to it , and since its only password protected to your account and many people log into fitbit through facebook... see where this is going ?!?

Saw an article recently making the same point about bluetooth on fitness devices. I don't link anything to facebook so I guess all they would get from me is a series of health and fitness sites0
