Cellphones and writing

I was thinking about this as I was redoing the short description and thought it interesting: Does anyone use their cellphone to write their novels or short stories? Maybe your blog? I wrote a chapter on my phone and I am still trying to decide whether I like it or not.

I find the tiny workspace of a cellphone screen too limiting. I carry around a notebook and mechanical pencil to jot down ideas, plot points and scene summaries. My handwriting sucks horribly, but I find it scribes the ideas into my mind at the same time the words touch the page and then I can flush out the ideas better when I get somewhere I can write properly.

You know, I just got into using index cards to chart my story line.

The small screen put me off too and I am not a big fan of the keyboards on cellphones.

Carrying around a notebook is what works for me as well.
