Question about fitbit

I just got my fitbit a few days ago and just wanted to ask in my goals in fitbit should I put it at 500 calorie deficit when I have already created a 500 calorie deficit with my fitness pal. Am I therefore creating a 1000 calorie deficit or or am I supposed to set them both at 500 to create a 500 deficit.

No, your deficit on both Fitbit and MFP will be 500 calories. When you log your food on MFP, once you connect your Fitbit to it the total calories/macros will show up on there as well.0

Also don't forget to set negative calories (i think it's called that if I remember right!) on MFP that also puts calories earned correct when your fitbit syncs with MFP.
It's just a little tick box.0 -
Thanks. I'll leave them both on the 500 calorie deficit then and I'll go change my fitness pal so it allows negative as well. Thanks for your help appreciate it,0
