Fitbit Sync & Negative Adjustments Question

I've only just linked my Fitbit (Zip) with MFP and enabled negative adjustments yesterday even though i've had it since January. A few months ago I ended up without a computer and have misplaced my dongle so I have to sync manually via my phone app. My question is, if I forget to sync at bedtime will that screw up my totals? For example, if I sync it after my evening walk but then putter around the house for another 300 steps or something like that, but don't sync it before I go to bed is my adjustment going to be out of whack, or will it adjust correctly when I sync it in the morning?

ETA: I have a computer now, but a new dongle is low on the list of items-to-buy.

It will be fine on the Fitbit end as long as you sync within 7 days. For MFP, I am not sure. I have seen it update the previous day when I synced the following morning, but sometimes it doesn't seem to update (at least not right away, maybe it eventually does). I think it should mostly be fine if you sync after your significant activity ends. I try to sync before I go to bed, but sometimes forget and it doesn't usually cause trouble (assuming I synched that same evening at some point and was relatively inactive the remaining hours).
