Managed my first Rx WOD (nothing scaled) today.
4 RFT
- 20 American KB swings (53lbs)
- 20 Burpees
I was last to finish (damn burpees), but I did finish before class time ending.
Tell me about your first Rx.

Excellent!
My first Rx'd WOD was about a month and half into started CrossFit but it was a bunch of running and rowing =P The next one was about 2 months in (on my birthday). A year later and I still don't Rx a lot of WODs (bc I'm still significantly overweight), but I just Rx'd a WOD today...
A. Strict Press: 5x5 E2:30MOM (65%, 70%, 75%, 80%, 85%)
B. For time:
10 shoulder to overhead
2 power cleans
8 shoulder to overhead
4 power cleans
6 shoulder to overhead
6 power cleans
4 shoulder to overhead
8 power cleans
2 shoulder to overhead
10 power cleans
Rx for ladies was 95 or 105 (Rx+ was 125 or 140). I Rx'd at 105# in 7:480 -

Awesome! There are going to be plenty of workouts I won't be able to Rx, but I am dedicated to getting there.0 -

I don't actually remember what it was, but I remember seeing it on the board and thinking "I can do that Rx"
Like you I was dead last, but dammit I did it.
And then a few weeks later I did another one RX an was NOT dead last, and I knew I wouldn't be going in.
I still tend to be near the back of the pack, but I'm improving and that's all that counts.0 -
My first (and so far only) RX was in June.
It was an AMRAP 10.
10 Box Jumps
10 hand-release pushups
10 KBS (53/35)
I only got 3 + 8 but man did it feel good, especially since I've been Crossfitting for only 4 months now.0 -
My first Rx'd was this week (and by Rx'd I mean for level 2, which is where I'm at in my box and I obviously Rx'd level 1 to get there...)
12 minute AMRAP
7 ring push ups
7 toes to bar
7 box jumps (20")
(did my first toes to bar that day!)0 -
Not my first RX, but I was a little intimidated by Saturday's WOD. Our box just got a new facility and we finally have ropes to climb, so this was our first workout with climbs.
4 Rope climbs to 15'
5 Power snatches @ 115
6 Box Jump Overs @ 30"
3 RC
4 PS
5 BJO
2 RC
3 PS
4 BJO
1 RC
2 PS
3 BJO
11:38 including having to wait for the ropes to clear on my second and third rounds. I know I can do this workout in less than 10:00, I don't know why it intimidated me.0
