To log or not to log exercise?

My flex is synced with MFP, which is great, but I don't like logging my workouts (which are usually walking or low impact aerobics) and seeing them go up too high into the green or get dropped from green to orange. I do occasionally eat back some calories when I am hungry, but if the logging is inaccurate somehow, I have no idea really how much room I have or what my deficit and exercise calories might actually be.
In other words, is fitbit alone more accurate for gauging my exercise than logging?
