"Trust Me, and don't be afraid. I want you to view trials as exercises designed to develop your trust-muscles. You live in the midst of fierce spiritual battles, and fear is on of Satan's favorite weapons. When you start to feel afraid, affirm you trust in Me. Speak out loud, if circumstances permit. Resist the devil in My name and he will slink away from you. Refresh yourself in My holy Presence. Speak or sing praises to Me, and My Face will shine radiantly upon you.
Remember that there is no condemnation for those who belong to Me. You have been judged not guilty for all eternity. Trust Me, and don't be afraid; for I am your Strength, Song, and Salvation.
James 4:7; Romans 8:1-2; Isaiah 12:2"
How can I relate this to my weight loss journey?
I have to trust God with my weight loss. The fear of failure is on of Satan's weapons. When temptations come my way I need to resist the devil in Jesus Name and speak or sing praises to Christ in those times. When I mess up I need to not condemn myself, just move on. God is my strength to get through this.
Good Morning Father. Thank you for being there. I love you so much. You are my strength. Bring me closer to you. Help me today to stay on track. In Jesus Name Amen.

This scripture fits me today, I am trying to obey him during a very dark time. It's not easy going thru trials
and trusting God when bad things are happening. 8 weeks ago my youngest daughter's husband's work
transferred him from Md to Colorado. They moved there with my 3 yr old grandson who I only missed 5
days of not seeing him since his birth. I accepted it and was getting used to them not being around and then
2 weeks ago my oldest daughter lost her husband of 1 yr and 7 days in an accident. She waited 30 yrs to find
the right guy. He was a great husband to her. I trust God to take care of her but struggling to know why which
we'll never know. Keep our daughter and family in prayers. As far as weight loss he has been faithful in helping me
to lose 44lbs so far.0 -

This scripture fits me today, my husband and I are going through a small financial situation. This summer was the first that all three children were in some form of summer camp so it was always something due at the same time. Unfortunately we became behind on our youngest son's daycare bill. So until we pay them the back amount that's past due he's unable to return and it breaks my heart that he's asking why he isn't in school anymore. I know that it's the devils joy to see you fall back on your faith and question God why me, but I also know that the God we all serve is a mighty God and he will not let his children stress or worry about something once you've brought the issue to him. What we are going through at this moment is just that something at this moment. I will not let it stress me to the point that I'm picking up something to eat just because it's there, and I will not let it stop me from doing what has to be done to make sure he's back in school.0 -
