Hi guys,
I'm 19 weeks pregnant and looking for friends, this is my first so not really sure what to expect. After losing around 20 lbs the weight is slowly creeping back on, I know its the baby but it is still hard. I've been eating as healthy as I can but I get the junk craving every now and then. I managed not to put on any weight up until 16 weeks but since then I've put on 6 lbs, I know this is fine but its still taking some time to get use to. I'm still exercising but looking for people to make sure I do, lol.
Thanks Kola

Hi and welcome! Definitely don't stress about the weight gain during pregnancy. The main priority should be baby's growth and development...and if your doctors aren't concerned about the weight gain, then you shouldn't be either. Do your very best!
I'm due December 11 with my first baby too, so I'm a little bit ahead of you. Feel free to add me if you'd like! Congrats on your little one!!0 -

Hi! I'm due on January 18th with my first. I also lost almost 20 pounds right before I got pregnant. I'm so glad I did because by the end of my pregnancy, I'm sure I'll be SO thankful to not have that extra 17 pounds to lug around.
It sounds like you're on the right track with your weight gain. I've gained 10 pounds plus or minus. Try not to let it get to you too much. And, feel free to add me if you want!0 -
Congrats on the weight loss & pregnancy! I'm due Jan 29th with baby #2. I've put on about 10lbs thus far. I gained 34lbs with baby #1 & I wasn't eating well or exercising. It's sheer luck that I didn't gain 50+. I'd like to gain 25-35lbs this time around. I'm starting to feel better & ready to workout again. Anyone feel free to add me0

I'm due Jan 18th as well with #2! Just found out yesterday it's a girl
I lost almost 58 lbs over the past year before getting pregnant. I totally understand about gaining back some of the weight. It's really hard seeing the scale go in the opposite direction when you've been losing.
So far I've gained 3 lbs (as of last Sunday).
I can only say, get exercise when/if you can and do the best you can with your eating habits. I personally don't restrict anything, but I do log my food everyday here on MFP.0 -
Hi there! i'm due Jan 5th. So I am just over 21wks along. I dont even know what I gained anymore, LOL probably like 16-17lbs. its coming on fast!!! ugh ugh0

Welcome! I'm nearly 26 weeks along - due on December 7th - and I've gained 14lbs so far. It sounds like you are on the right track with the weight gain -6lbs at 19 weeks sounds pretty good to me I can only echo what the others have said - try not to be too bothered by it (not easy I know) and remember that you've got all the time in the world afterwards to get rid of the weight again. And there will be a number of us in the same position all trying to start losing at around the same time - so we can all help each other out!!0
