9/5/14 = 253.8 - 4.2 lbs HOLY CRAP!!!!heart love about half is the water I put on over Labor day weekend but I'm still SUPER happy with this number. My first goal was 254 so I am THERE!

GW: 257 (15.8 lbs - And reaching this will give me 100 lb mark milestone)
LTGW: 157 (dropped down one pound to make it an even 200 to reach it. I like even numbers)

09/07 - 270.4 (-2.8) (This is actually more than it was when I weighed in for another challenge. I am certain it is water weight from my breaking down my muscles. As we all know inflammation easily leads to water retention and breaking down of muscles causes inflammation, to a degree.)

9/02/14= 340.6 (-0.6lb - it was a rough long weekend...better next week)
9/08/14= 339.0 (-1.6lbs - that's a little better)
9/15/14= 330.2 (-8.8lbs - Nope, not a typo :laugh: I knew my number would be good as long as I didn't have a salty weekend like the last two were!)

I kept reading all of the blog posts and seeing all of these fit people who were using MFP to just get in better shape- I am glad I found somewhere where there are others "like me".
A little about me--- I like to be in the 280 lb range, and actually somewhat pleased at that weight (I am 5'9" and big boned and like my curves). I have extreme willpower and can lose 30+ pounds in just a few months, but as soon as I decide I am comfortable with where I am, my eating gets out of control and comes back.
I lost approx. 40 lbs a couple of years ago, then gained it back, per my usual routine, then got pregnant. So now I'm hanging on to 15 lbs of baby weight, plus the weight I gained back right before becoming pregnant. My son is 8 months old now and I'm ready to get back into my old clothes and actually feel good about myself again! I just used the MFP food diary before, so I'm hoping maybe joining a group will help me even more this time. Nice to meet you all!

I think I'm in a bit of a stall at the moment. I weigh every day and it's been bouncing between 253 and 251 (with some anomalies) for 2 weeks now. Trying to remember that it's all part of the process and not get down on myself. I actually dropped my calories this month AND have done better sticking to them then last month and I've lost way less. I did it cuz I wanted to push hard before engagement pictures and fit into some new jeans and boots, but I don't see that happening. I've bumped my calories back up because I didn't like the level I was at so I guess I just need to have patience. It's definitely the hardest part.0 -

This was a serious roller coaster month. Fell into the trap called "I've done so well, a little won't hurt." And then turned into a monster, stumbling around with my hands outstretched, searching for treats, sugar, starches, anything to satisfy my addiction. Arrgghhh! It is so awful to be constantly thinking about food, and being scared at what's happening to me, and being driven by that unseen force. It was a fight but I seem to have kicked the cravings. What a relief! To not have that monster on my back, whipping me on. Good RIDDANCE!!!!!
I just need to go cold turkey on the processed stuff and stick to a "clean" diet, which for me is protein, vegies, lots of water and a little unprocessed carbs (potatoes are good). It's a fight, that's for sure. But knowing that it doesn't last forever helps me persevere.
