Anyone had steroid injections?

Hi guys. I've just had a steroid injection in my right hip, to help me with osteoarthritis. I know it can be painful for a few days & it can take a week or so before I can see the benefits. I'm interested in hearing anyone else's experiences with steroid injections and if they worked for you.

    I, too, just had my first pain mgmt steroid injection last Friday. For two days I was feeling good about the injection cause I had no pain. However, I have begun having some pain again after standing for awhile. I'm hoping that the injection will take hold and the pain will ease.
