100 days of Happiness - Day 49 Any one welcome

Honestly it has been a hard day, a son hyper for school tomorrow and entering a bratty phase and a husband who if he was a woman I would suggest was on her period, and a bad one at that. But the point of this is to find something every day to be positive about so I must stick to that.

I am happy today for finding out that as a low income family we may be eligible for a cheap new refrigerator. Apparently if you have one that is older than 14 years you can get one from 75 to 150 dollars depending on the size you want. Ours is 15 years old and on its last legs and we have been trying to mop up water and stretch out replacing it as long as we can since the car is also on its last legs. This may mean we have one less thing to worry about.

seems you've found a happy note to zone in on for today  if we look hard enough, there's always something pleasant or happy in our day. This day for me has been quiet as usual with me and my husband only. Despite the fact that it is a national holiday and most families that are blessed to live in the same city, let alone just miles away from each other, are usually gathered together enjoying a big meal and a day visiting and fun. But not here for me and hubby. My grown kids choose to hang out with their friends instead of family. Unfortunately, that means our grandkids must go with them, too...so no time with MeeMee and PawPaw. Hubby grilled a small meal just for us and we missed the happy sounds of talk and laughter filling our home. But hey....that meal was so delicious! Hubby did a great job and we lounged around on the sofa together digesting as we watched the movie "Labor Day" together...which btw was so good!!!! So I found some happiness in this day afterall :flowerforyou:
