Because one of my goals is to lose five pounds this month, I plan to limit my fruit intake as another strategy to keep my sugar under control.

As far as weight loss is concerned, fruit still contains calories and carbohydrates. If these things aren't tracked and are over consumed, your weight loss progress might slow or stop.

    If weight loss is your goal, follow Nancy's advice in limiting fruit intake, without cutting it out completely.
