Morning all. I just did my first weigh in and finally blew past my little over a month long plateau. The scale had just refused to budge at all. This shocked me. I lost 4.8lbs!!! Thats almost half my goal for this challenge. I think starting P90x is playing a big part of this.
Good luck to everyone on with their weigh ins

great job!!!! I thought I would be stuck this week because of the prednisone but I did lose a pound which is good!0

great job to both of you!!! congratulations! i consider any loss a success.
i just want to clarify - i think i read that we have to have weights in by monday night, is that correct? 'cuz i generally do my weigh in on monday mornings & i'd like to keep it then, if it's possible. thanks.0 -
Monday is fine. I might weigh again Monday, although I had to move my weigh-in to Sunday for another challenge. I always preferred Monday as my official day.
At present I'm down .8, but my original weight is from Labor Day.
Congrats, SilverStormi!0 -
You have to weigh in by monday but if normally weigh in earlier then that its fine. I have always weighed myself weekly sunday mornings so I log mine a day early and some others do as well. Just log your weight once a week by monday night and your fine.0

I have to adjust my starting weight, because after my vacation I'm at a new highest weight... hrmf.. but hey, at least there's a lot of new motivation0

Very disappointed to see I have put weight back on again. From this week I will be doing two dance classes of two hours each plus my half hour swim each week. Plus walking as much as I can. Hope to see some difference at some point in the future - that is a difference of the scales going down, not up!
Well done to everyone who has lost weight, and those of you who are plateauing or gaining, please try not to despair. I know I am finding it hard.0 -
OMG, SilverStormi that is great!!!! Unfortunately, I'm up a bit, but sometimes that's just the way life goes. As long as I don't give up and just spiral out of control, it will all be okay. Thanks for the challenge.0

well after being up for a while I am down 9 pounds this week. Looking forward to a good week now that I back on track.0

I'm only down 0.2 of a pound, but I haven't had a dr. pepper in a 8 days , so that goal was reached!
This week, I will be concentrating more on lower calorie options and getting some walking in for exercise.0 -
I'm up a pound, but I had 2 pieces of pizza for lunch yesterday. And two more for dinner! It's easy for the sodium to mount a sneak attack on me!0

ok, so i'm still at the same weight i was last monday morning... so i'm going to step up my game and make my goals more intense each day. no more of this ***** footing around like i've done the last two days, it just doesn't get me where i want to really be.
congrats to everyone who released weight!!!! even just a part of a pound is less than you weighed last week, so keep going in that direction.
to everyone else, like me, who didn't move in the direction of their dreams, just keep at it and don't get too discouraged.
now i'm going to go post some actual goals that will have me down a few pounds by next monday. have a great day all! :bigsmile:0 -
I haven't been very focused for a loooong time now and am trying to get back on track. I have gained 8lbs since I was last active with the group, but just joined a very cool gym and will be moving the scale down by next week!0

Just joined the group today so my starting weight and week 1 weight are the same -- 217. I added my info at bottom of spreadsheet. I'm Christina - username cds2001
Hopefully I entered everything correctly. Looking forward to this challenge!0 -
Good job to everyone who lost and to those who havent dont get discouraged. Trust me I just lost for the first time since the middle of july! So far we have lost a combined 42.5lbs and there are still people who havent weighed in We can do this
Hi Christina - welcome and I just checked and you entered everything correctly
Sara - great attitude. Hope you enjoy the new gym.
Katie - Also love the attitute. It will all pay off in the long run.
Theresa - that sneaky sodium was my undoing the last few weeks as well.
Daisy - love that you met your no soda goal0
