Hi
I.m new to this site, discovered through my Garmin 1000. I road cycle lots and run a fair bit and am getting back into the swimming which will be my barrier. It is early days but I have an in built determination to do this. I have some training plans and am hoping to find a couple of training pals but as with all these things talking is easy.
Just wondered if there are any tips from you seasoned triathletes. It would be great to get advice.
Cheers
Andy

Well I trained and completed my first Sprint Triathlon on Oct 11th 2014. I had fun it was allot of hard work, the weight I ran the race at was 294 lbs., I started at 314 so I had dropped 20 but had also gained allot of muscle. I would say the best thing you can do is pick your race signup and then get on a training program with the number of weeks before your first race. Just be determined and you will do it. I have 10 races I would like to run next year and I will just have to see how things go, I will be happy if I actually make half of them.0
