I came back to MFP in an effort to lose weight and get healthy. My mother (71yrs old) had open heart surgery w/4 bypasses in July 2014. Her younger sister (64yrs old) died February 2013 of a heart attack. Their father died during open heart surgery in his late 50's. I have high blood pressure and elevated blood sugar (glucose) along with obeseity, all contributors to heart disease.
