Give up one thing for 30 days.

So I was watching Dr. Oz at the gym. Okay yeah he's a phoney bologna. But he did say something that actually made sense and my aunt has tried it on a few things.

He says. If you're trying to cut things out of your diet (bread, sweets, chips whatever) Pick just ONE thing and give it up for 30 days. Don't quit a tons of things at once cause you're bound to bounce back and eat all of them. If you cut one item out for 30 days straight (no cheating people!) It will become habit and you will stop craving it and it will be easy to avoid. Then you move on to another item for the next 30 days.

My aunt has done this for iced tea, chips, bread. It's been 3 months since she's had any of these and she doesn't crave it at all.

One rule: If in those 30 days you eat that item you are trying to cut out. Your 30 days starts over again the next day.

I think I'm going to try this because I am horrid when it comes to sweets and i'll admit it...chips. I love chips.. Specially since I've been so stressed out lately and that's all I want. Currently on day 4 of no chips.

Who's with me?!

Starting tomorrow, NO chocolate, really is my downfall, stupid thing is I don't enjoy it when I eat it! Why do I still eat it?

Mine will be sugar. I do pretty well, but I give in to temptation every so often primarily with extended family gathering. This will be challenging as I have a girls weekend trip in two weeks. I think that this challenge will help me lose even during that time.
