Happy Saturday 9/13 Goals

Well, yesterday's goals were met pretty doggone well, so I think I will carry them over to today. They are:

*drink at least 80 ounces of water (Drank 144 oz. on Fri!)
*ride on the exercise bike, averaging 18 mph, for 60 minutes - (I believe I averaged about 17 mph on Fri, though hit 19 mph for quite some minutes - getting better!! I'll be pleased with an average of 17 again.)
*Work outside while praying we really get the rain this time (We got the rain! about 2.75 inches with lots of lightning last night; need more rain this evening - pond hasn't risen much at all since overnight)
*reach my daily protein goal and not exceed my sugar or carbs
*only eat back 50-75 percent of my exercise calories

    Happy Saturday! Great job making weather, Susan! My goals are to 1) Do my last 30 Day Shred workout of the week; 2) Take a long walk; 3) Keep my calories under goal.

    I ended up blowing off most of my goals yesterday and taking a rest and recovery day instead. Feel much better today and that the sun is out (although it's still ridiculously cold for this time of year) is probably helping that. Stuck at work for a while, but my plan is to eat pretty healthy for all meats despite that (just had Chipotle for lunch, actually, since it's the easiest local option open, and I was with people who did not want to walk across the Loop, but I'm actually quite pleased with the calories and macros from my new favorite order), and more importantly to get my long run for the weekend in. Also to get home early enough to get some good reading in/have a nice relaxing evening, and to call my mom, since it's her birthday.

    I got to sleep in, so I met my first goal! Since I ate breakfast so late, and was busy cleaning my son's room, I never ate lunch. After church, I'm gonna splurge and get some fried pickles at Texas Roadhouse! I'm behind on my water, mostly because I'm out of lemon juice. Just doesn't taste as good plain!

    My other goals:

    Drink 10 glasses of water.
    Stay within my calories.
    Start laundry (since I have so much extra from under my son's bed!)
