Rewatching the first series!

I'm rewatching and the special effect have come so far it is crazy! I was never the biggest fan of Christopher Eccleston fan but I love Captain Jack so I figured I would give in a 2nd chance. I have seen all the other seasons a bunch but never felt like rewatching the 1st series.

    Loooooove Eccleston, and you have to admit that his chemistry with Rose was better than Tennant's.

    Bear in mind that when DW first rebooted, it was after years and years of failed attempts, and their budget was ridiculously low. The movie had been a huge flop, and no one was sure a rebooted tv series was going to work. Considering what they had to work with, the effects were pretty good. Not great, and technology has come a long ways since then, but still pretty good. (Plastic Mickey looked like a Ken doll and creeped me out.)

    I also have to argue that the first series of the rebooted show was some of the best writing the show has seen. :)

    Oh I agree the writing is so much better! I'm glad I am giving it a 2nd chance.
