I had active minutes, but they have now vanished

Does anyone know why this happens?

I went on a 1 hour speed walk/jog along te gulf coast. When I was finished I had logged 7,000 steps and 41 active minutes. I then went to eat lunch and log it and now my active minutes say 0.

This is confusing. How did I do 41 active minutes to nothing?

Could it be that your time zone is incorrect? That would mean your new day started earlier than you expected. You can check that in the settings. Otherwise I'm not sure what it could be.

One way I could see it.

VAM is when your calories is 6 x your BMR per minute, and/or hitting a certain pace.

If your app wasn't updated with new weight yet that day, it might have done the math and figured you had hit VAM.
But then within the same day, you either increased weight, or it synced and the app found out your weight is heavier, and that time actually didn't qualify as VAM time.

Between the walk and the eating, did you update your weight in either location?

And prior to logging the food, when had been your last time when the app needed to sync?
