PCOS Diet- Carbs, Dairy?

I stopped eating gluten a couple months ago, and that has helped me lower my carbs (which is usually recommended for PCOS).

I heard that cutting down on dairy can help too (all of the hormones).

Anyone have any experience with this?

I read that it was something to do with a insulin imitator hormone in dairy, that increases the insulin in your system. And it's too much insulin that is the problem in PCOS so reducing carbs and sugar helps because of needing less insulin to deal with it. I haven't actually tried any dairy free foods but I know a lot of women try almond milk and things like that.
