Does my PC need to remain on for the fitbit to calculate
my data? I don't prefer to leave it on all day,every day
but have been because there looks like a delay or worse
if I don't. Does anyone know?

no you don't have to keep it on - but next time you turn it on with the dongle in (or bluetooth) it will update.0

It will only sync/update when the PC is on.0
