Morning everyone,

Well thank goodness its Friday. I still have quite a bit of work to get done but today is trying on old cloths day. I can't toss things at the moment until I order new cloths to wear (that would be an issue), but I can start sorting and mounding.

Look at that, I could fit a small child in their (and yes I'm wearing spandex)! Or a newborn baby Elephant Seal (wouldn't the parents be proud, they have been wanting grandchildren). If I keep wearing these any longer I will have to fold them in half and share a pant leg.

So lets be self indulgent. What are your successes? Don't say you don't have any! I can see those weight tickers at the bottom of your posts. Those numbers don't go up on their own.

So what objects have you dropped?

1 pound = a loaf of bread
2 pounds = an IPad or the Imperial State Crown
3 pounds = a can of Crisco vegetable oil
4 pounds = a Reebok 4-Pound Ankle Wrap Weight set
5 pounds = the world’s largest gummy bear (Five-pound gummy bear is equal to 1400 regular-sized bears!)
6 pounds = a 4 slice toaster
8 pounds = a human head
10 pounds= a bag of Russet potatoes
15 pounds = a George Foreman Next Generation Grill
20 pounds = an automobile tire
25 pounds = a container of cat litter
30 pounds = the amount of cheese an average American eats in a year
35 pounds = the average car or pickup battery
40 pounds = a 5-gallon bottle of water
45 pounds = a bushel of oranges
50 pounds = Darius, the world’s biggest rabbit
55 pounds = eleven five pound bags of sugar
60 pounds = a bull moose’s antlers can weigh 60 pounds
65 pounds= 260 sticks of butter
70 pounds = a portable photo booth
75 pounds = an average sized chimpanzee
80 pounds = 40 two pound bags of carrots
85 pounds= 17 watermelons
90 pounds = 60 dozen eggs
95 pounds= an average sized recliner chair
100 pounds = 18,000 quarters
105 pounds= the amount of red meat that the average American eats each year
110 Pounds= 22 average sized coconuts

Awesome job Pat! Did have to look twice though to figure out what the picture was when I first opened up the thread and that was the first thing I saw. Make sure you wear a belt if you do wear them...I think I have scarred one of my kids for life when my pants accidentally fell down while vacuuming. I found though that now that I have one pair of pants that fit a month ago that is now getting baggy on me I want new pants that fit again. Trying to hold out until I can skip a size so I don't go broke buying a new wardrobe in every size.

I have lost 2 40 lb bags of carrots. That isn't very interesting but it is also the weight of the worlds largest ball of tape. It is also only 27 lbs less than the combined weight of my two youngest boys (7 and 10) and 10 lbs less than my 13 year old. After thinking about that number I realized that I am over half way to my original final goal of weighing 150! I would still be overweight at that point because I am so short but I was pretty happy with how I looked in high school, may go lower but I will just have to wait and see how I feel at that time. My ticker only has me going down to 199...the total number I wanted to lose was way to daunting to have staring me in the face every day. Going to have to change it soon though.

I have lost a portable photo booth and an Imperial state crown (far more interesting than the Ipad). Not bad!

Well done on the great loss

Looking foward to being able to fit back in my jeans one day. I have lost a 5-gallon bottle of water and an IPad so far.

Pat! I love your list of losses. Nothing here yet but I am going to have SO much fun with that one!
