Hello there, i'm new to the group. I am wondering if anyone give advice on what i can do differently to the scale to move.
Most days i try to stick to a 1200 calorie diet (today was not one of those days ) and workout 5 days out of the week, either doing HIIT workouts or walking 3.1 on treadmill for an hour. Despite this i'm not gaining weight but not losing it either. I started out at 214 and now at 198 but it's stuck there. It's Driving me bonkers. It's been like this four about 3 weeks.
I was recently diagnosed as being pre-diabetic and having PCOS. I was put on metfor min and spirolactone.

I hope you at least eat your exercise calories back, that is kind of low for that amount of exercise.
Have you tried eating low GI or low carb? Those were the two that seemed to work best for me.
Make sure to drink lots of water.0 -

Yep I agree too, need to explore those low(er) carb options of a diet, low GI is a bit more work to learn how to do but does give you more flexibility as far as keeping a moderate amount of carbs in your diet.
Most of us around here do some version of low carb, so feel free to reach out with a PM, and or friend us if you're wondering what is the best option for you.0 -
Has anyone found that taking metformin and spirolactone make drinking water or getting enough water ridiculously harder than even normal struggles? I stopped taking the spirolactone for that reason.... I'm still struggling, but have almost doubled my water intake since stopping it. I'm getting close to back to my normal water level for my weight...almost.0
