Two weeks in

So I'm about 2 weeks into SL and I love it. I'm having a hard time keeping consistent and getting modem 2 workouts a week so I have to make a better effort getting them in. Here are some observations: I feel a huge difference in ohp when I take 60 second rest vs a 3 minute rest. And o haven't made huge Progress yet and can only handle 50 lbs right now. But now i know to take legit breaks between. I'm good with squats. I have always been good with them. I'm up to 65 right now because I'm doing te 2.5lbs increase at a time. I love deadlifts because I feel like a badass. I did 80bs today. Love it.

I agree on the rests.....it does say up to 5mins.
When I started a year ago I was doing 60-90secs for the first couple sets then would up it to 2mins for the last two.
Eventually when I got up higher (90lb ohp) I was taking the full 5mins
Now that I am doing wendler it's back down to a 90sec rest period as the weights aren't that heavy.
ETA: my point being you don't have to have static rests during your sets...try playing with them. If on set 3 you know you had a hard time getting that last rep up go to 1:45 and see if that helps...even 2mins...or if you are doing a 3min rest try 3:30 between set 4 and 5.0
