I've been religiously logging everything (food, exercise, water, sleep... The whole shebang) on the FitBit app since I got my Flex for Christmas. I'm obsessed! I just linked the Fitbit app and MFP today. It seems like MFP's food database is much more extensive, so I will probably keep using it for that and log the rest on the FitBit app. Anyone have a preference for logging exercise? Which, for what, and why? I do a ton of Les Mills classes and a decent amount of outdoor biking. Not sure which would be more accurate, but for the time being I'll probably just keep logging exercise on the FitBit app since it's what I'm used to.
Any comments/feedback would be greatly appreciated
The FAQ in these stickies gets in to this. Plus the fact you have to manually log biking.
Formula's for calorie burn based on walking/running have no correlation to biking "steps" that aren't even all seen.0 -

I'm a little confused about fitbit logging in cardio. Do you do it separatey or just let it flip your steps to fitness pal. I've been doing 30 min. On treadmill then just trying to walk as much as possible during the day to hit 10000 steps.0

I've had my Fitbit for a month now and I'm having a time getting the minimum 10,000 steps in a day. I have a desk job and there's not much space for me to move around. Any suggestions? Some encouragement would be great too.0
